Normally you use an expensive standard gasket with the risk that this temporary sealing accidentally remains. A temporary gasket is not needed with a Safety Spade/Vapor Spade with rubber sheeting. When removing the ruberized Safety Spade/Vapor Spade, there is nothing left behind and the end seal can be mounted directly.
