Description

Ringspacer Carbon Steel ANSI 4" 400 Fabricated out of carbon steel plate. All spacer have a flange facing (flat face/smooth finish) and 2 holes in the handle

Ring spacers are ment to fill the gap when removing a "single blind". Whe removing a single blind, either the flange's must be pulled together to seal the line, or a "ring spacer" must be installed to fill the gap.

Sheet thickness

The indicated thicknesses are theoretical thicknesses. However, Steekflens will always use the standard trade plate thicknesses. As a result, the thickness of the blindspades could end up being higher than the theoretical thicknesses.

When machining the flanges (e.g. gasket surfaces), Blindspades and Spectacle blinds can be delivered in 2 (welded) parts.

Welding complies with ASME B 16.48-2010 chapter 4.1
